Hamza,

Subject to the technical answers to your question (above)   I had the same problem the other day sending a .dpf document to two colleagues one using MS Outlook and the other The BAT.  I use MS Outlook.  Both Colleagues recieved an attachement  called winmail.dat. instead of the .pdf file that was intended

A very awkward but useable solution is when the recipient saves the attachement to their own HDD is to rename it winmail.pdf

The file can then be read as a .pdf file

Not everything within IT has an easily explainable solution!
