ScanSoft PaperPort includes Zeon's DocuCom products -- both PDF Driver and other low level components.

DocuCom products shows the trial watermark only if requested by the caller -- probably PaperPort in your case.
It means PaperPort may think the user license is not valid, and therefore not properly initialize DocuCom product accordingly. Therefore we show the trial watermark.

To solve this problem, please contact ScanSoft.

We will never affect any PDF files not created by DocuCom products!
