Our PDF viewers (PDF Gold and PDF Plus) will not recognize the URL (e.g. www.pdfwizard.com) as a hot link.

But Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader will do it.
Are you using Adobe Acrobat or Reader to view the created PDF document?
