Question 1> Could you convert the doc file with PDF Direct! tool?
(You may find shortcut on your desktop after installation.)

Question 2> Could you convert the docu file in File Explorer?
(Right-click the doc file, then choose "Convert file to PDF->Factory Default" in the pop-up context menu.)

Question 3> Does MS Word always crash when you print any doc file to "DocuCom PDF Driver" printer?

Which version of PDF Gold are you using now?
Could you download and install PDF Gold 7.83 and retry?
