Need help with driver conflict problem I am using 2 products that both license and incorporate the Zeon DocuCom driver: PaperPort 11 and HotDocs Pro PDF 2005. As a result of both of these program installed simultaneously, PaperPort, when I try to manipulate a PDF file in its environment, adds a DocuCom Trial watermark to the PDF file. According to the Nuance website, these products can't coexist, but, given Nuance's usual level of technical support competence, I suspect that just have not bothered to seek a solution other than uninstall PaperPort, reinstall PaperPort, and cross your fingers.
Can anyone of this forum offer a more practical solution re how I can prevent this watermark from being applied? Is there some way to "trick" the registry into treating the DocuCom driver as a registered driver, so that it does not keep applying the watermark?
If I obtain and install a full version of DocuCom, will this make the problem go away?
Thanks for any suggestions.
