Cannot Activate Product - DocuCom Gold 7.91

No matter what I do I CANNOT activate the product.

I used a previous version of the product ...nver really had any problems before.

I've followed the instructiion but I cannot activate the new product.

I get the following error:

This product is an Upgrade version. 
    1. Please install and activate your original product version first,  or

    2. De-activate the original product beforehand.

Any ideas ...?  Please help!
